The reason why I painted this artwork: 
 
A silent witness to life’s most precious moments, this Spotted Gum stands tall, its smooth yet bumpy bark shifting in a mosaic of silvers, deep greens and pinks. As the light dances across its surface, whispers of past celebrations seem to linger in the air, changing the colours as I see it. 
 
Echoes of laughter, wishes carried on the wind, and the quiet magic of new beginnings. A tree of mystery and memory, it holds the stories of those who gather beneath its branches, waiting to weave new ones into its ever-changing canopy.
